What did you want to be when you grew up? Of all the things people forget about childhood, this one is likely something you can answer without hesitation. We all have dreams and hopes and interests we plan to turn into careers. Have you asked yourself where things changed? When did that "plan" turn into a "hope" and then a "wish"? At some point, the world said, "But what are you going to do? Like, for money?" At some point, you started working for bills and obligations that have nothing to do with your insides.
This video is an amazing way of looking at life because it starts from the perspective of a person at the end of their life. When people think about things they regret at the end, it may not be things they actually did. If you're "working for the weekend" but nothing more, you may be wasting precious time. That's not to say the grind doesn't have its merits, but life happens when you go out of your comfort zone, and this video drives home that point perfectly.
